The modern Czech Republic was born on January 1st, 1993, when the Czechoslovak Federal Republic split into two independent states, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The cultural character of Czech cities, villages and spa towns has always been a source of inspiration to visitors. The capital Prague has miraculously survived wars and revolutions. There are splendid examples or all types European architecture.
In 2004, the Czech Republic celebrated more than sixty anniversaries of outstanding Czech composers such as Antonín Dvorák, Bedrich Smetana, Leos Janácek, Bohuslav Martinu, and Josef Suk.
Workshops & MasterClassesAustria offers your performing group the opportunity to participate in an educational music workshop program especially designed for choirs and other performing groups. The program consists of lectures in music history, music theory, and performance studies and is taught by faculty members of the University of Music in Vienna, as well as by members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, one of the largest and most prestigious Universities of Music and Dramatic Arts in the world. Each Workshop program is designed to offer your performing group, be it an instrumental or vocal ensemble, the opportunity to expand its repertoire and enhance its performance skills.
The Music Workshop will include five days of master classes, with six hours of lessons daily, including time for individual rehearsals. The pieces to be performed during a final concert in a prestigious Viennese concert venue will be coordinated with your teachers and performed together.The Music Workshop includes visits and excursions to private homes, palaces, museums and concert halls related to famous composers, as well as fascinating music history lectures.Places of interest:

Festival:Youth music groups from all over the world will have the opportunity to participate and demonstrate their talents in public performances. Bavaria together with its local youth groups and local music groups will welcome the foreign visitors in their homes trying to make their stay enjoyable, successful and full of new impressions. For one week they will enjoy Barvarian hospitality.
