French History Educational Travel

FRANCE

A unique educational experience. Whether you teach French, art, history or another subject, our itineraries will help you meet your teaching objectives. Our unique trips introduce students to the history and culture of France. Through visits to key historical places, your students will learn about some of the country’s most distinctive aspects.

Normandy

Historic towns, picturesque harbours, and inspiring activities make Normandy a wonderful destination for a cross-curricular tour. From Bayeux's magnificent tapestry to water lilies in Monet's Giverney gardens and visits to the D-Day landing beaches, you will experience a slice of history, art and culture from across the centuries.
Explore Mont St. Michel, one of the most striking religious buildings in Europe, visit the first café to be liberated in France. Being on site brings to life in a vivid and personalised way the horrors of the D-Day landings. Through local enquiry, students not only have the opportunity to practise their language skills, but also interact with French citizens and immerse themselves in a different society. Whatever the needs of your group, you can be sure to satisfy them and more in this diverse region.
Our favourite youth centre is the Bon Séjour, close to both the beach and the village centre. All rooms have en suite facilities and amenities include table football, pool, video games, a stage/theatre room, classrooms and there is an informal disco on most nights.
